Aleister Black did some of his best work on NXT. Fans will never forget the instant classic he put on with Johnny Gargano at NXT TakeOver: WarGames in November 2018. His Extreme Rules match with Adam Cole at NXT TakeOver: Philadelphia in January 2018 was one of the year's best matches.
His rivalries with Andrade, Ciampa, and The Velveteen Dream were critically acclaimed, as well. The memorable matches were just a preview of what Black is capable of and fans know that he can do much more.
