The last four months have proven catastrophic for Aleister Black. However, all hope is not lost. NXT provides a safety net and a haven where Black could return and reestablish dominance again. It provides a platform where the Dutch Destroyer could become a formidable force once again.

Being sent back to NXT is far from a demotion. It can turn a struggling Superstar's career around. Finn Balor was consistently overlooked and misused on the main roster, but then he was suddenly sent back to NXT last October. The move was a stroke of genius as The Prince managed to reinvent himself. Breezango was non-existent on the main roster but the duo found some success on NXT.

On NXT, Black would have newer opponents. Karrion Kross, Finn Balor, and Pat McAfee would prove to be intriguing opponents. A victory over such stars would help him build momentum. Now that he is a heel, he would have a different character arc, meaning that old storylines could be repeated with the roles reversed. The move could add a new perspective to Aleister Black's career as he would be presented with innumerable opportunities on a revamped brand.
