While Brock Lesnar is showcasing a lot more of his personality now, WWE has constantly put him in entertaining segments.

One of them came in the build-up to Royal Rumble 2020, when R-Truth interrupted a serious promo featuring him and Paul Heyman. The former 24/7 Champion made The Beast Incarnate break character and laugh, by claiming he would eliminate Heyman from the Royal Rumble.

Truth was recently a guest on Ryan Satin's "Out of Character" podcast, where he spoke about the segment and a backstage bet over if he could make Brock Lesnar laugh.

"The thing about that was they didn’t want Brock to know what I was going to say. I said I can make him laugh but I want him to laugh in a happy way. I don’t want him to turn into Brock - Brock out there. When I went out there, I saw Brock starting to hold his laugh in. I knew he was going to laugh when I hit the Paul Heyman line because he thought that I was talking about him," R-Truth said.

R-Truth also mentioned that Brock Lesnar hugged him when they returned backstage while calling the segment one of the best memories of his career.

"When we got to the back, Brock hugged me, man, and he was like, ‘you’re funny, you’re funny.’ It was a good moment, a good TV segment," R-Truth continued.

It is heartwarming to hear such a story about The Beast Incarnate. Could we hear something similar from Sami Zayn on a future podcast? Lesnar has already punished him enough.
