This angle would eventually lead to a match between Sasha Banks and Stephanie McMahon for the Women’s Championship, possibly at the Royal Rumble. Stephanie would try to win with the help of outside interference but Sasha would defy the odds to win and cement her spot at the top of the Women’s division.
