King Corbin would serve WWE perfectly as a transitional champion.

Every time Baron Corbin gets near the top of the mountain in WWE, there is always someone to take him right back down to earth. A lot of people could say Corbin would never be deserving of the company's biggest prizes, but having him as a champion would do a lot of good.

For example, with WWE struggling to get new babyfaces over on Friday Night SmackDown, why not use Corbin as a measuring stick of sorts? Furthermore, why not make Corbin a transitional champion, and use his nuclear heat to get fans to accept a new champion with open arms.

Whether that lucky babyface is Big E, Murphy, Otis, or even Jey Uso, the reaction would be far beyond anything WWE has seen in the last few years. It might even play a huge role in helping build up the future of the company on SmackDown, which is what they should be focusing on in 2021.
