Stone Cold Steve Austin has been the special guest referee in three WrestleMania matches following the end of his WWE in-ring career. Admittedly, his last match in the role was the disaster between Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler but The Rattlesnake would enhance any of the top angles heading into WrestleMania 38.

If Becky Lynch is still the RAW Women's Champion in March, Stone Cold could referee her 'Mania match. They shared a few beers on RAW in 2020, so there is some history. Imagine Bianca Belair regaining her title and getting her hand raised by Steve Austin.

Other exciting options include the WWE or Universal Title match, where Stone Cold Steve Austin can dish out a few Stunners on anybody who interferes. This is among the best uses of The Rattlesnake if he's around during WrestleMania season.

#3 A Stunner spot alongside WWE RAW's Kevin Owens

If Kevin Owens remains a heel, Stone Cold Steve Austin can return to WWE to avenge KO for "stealing" his move. They would have interesting promo segments leading to WrestleMania, where The Rattlesnake finally hits Owens with the Stunner.

If Kevin Owens turns babyface before the event, Stone Cold can join his side as the two hit Stunners on a bunch of heels. Either option sounds entertaining, considering the names involved. If Austin returns to television, WWE would miss a beat if he and KO don't meet on-screen.
