WWE alters big Bray Wyatt angle, what was the initial plan for Raw?

Bray Wyatt

The Big Show and Mark Henry vs Luke Harper and Erick Rowan match which was actually taped for Smackdown this week, was initially supposed to be in the Monday Night Raw schedule.

PWInsider reports that the match was intended to show how strong Bray Wyatt still is as it was planned that Show would be attacked by the Eater of Worlds after the match.

Bray would deliver the Sister Abigail on the World’s Largest Athlete and remind everyone how dangerous he still is. The purpose of this segment was to give him the momentum heading into next week.

But due to some unknown reasons, the plans were altered on Monday afternoon where WWE pitched a six-man tag-team match involving John Cena as he basically ran over the Wyatt Family.

Bray Wyatt had gained some good momentum after defeating Chris Jericho in the SummerSlam match. But in his match against Cena last week, the Eater of the Worlds suffered a convincing loss after Cena was booked strong for the match.

It remains to be seen how the WWE creative handles Bray’s push and books him in the upcoming weeks.

Here is the video of that six-man tag-team match on Raw.
