WWE ring announcer Tony Chimel lost a staggering 49 pounds in weight recently. Chimel began announcing duties for the company in 1991, working mostly non-televised house shows and filling in for Howard Finkel whenever necessary. He is, however, known for the famous ‘Tuxedo Match’ in 1999 in which he beat Howard Finkle for the rights to be SmackDown announcer.
Chimel is at present the ring announcer regularly on WWE Main Event after he was replaced by Lillian Garcia on SmackDown.
