The addition of Nakamura to the Smackdown Live roster will definitely show fans that aren't familiar with him just how much he can do. For those that have seen Nakamura compete, his presence in the ring is unmistakeable. However, the match may end up in a no contest, despite being a compelling battle.
The reason for the interference would be the impending return of a former United States champion. Rusev has made clear he wants to contend for the WWE title, so how better to make a statement than by standing in the way of someone that has had a buzz built around him in the lead up to his debut.
A scenario could unfold where Rusev comes in and causes Ziggler to lose by DQ in order to make a statement. There is no history between Rusev and Nakamura, with the exception that both of them began their WWE career in NXT, though not at the same time.
This could very well be the night where Rusev returns to WWE and in doing so stops ‘The artist known as Shinsuke Nakamura’.
