Becky Lynch shockingly revealed that she was pregnant on the latest episode of Raw and gave the Raw Women's Champion to 2020 Women's Money in the Bank Ladder Match winner Asuka. Given the fact that Becky Lynch will not be competing for the rest of the year, at least, Asuka is going to have to find someone else to defend the title against.

The most obvious choice is Shayna Baszler. The former NXT Women's Champion has been presented as a dominant force on Raw and got a victory over former multi women's champion Natalya on the latest episode of Raw. That dominant display and her comments about both Asuka and Becky Lynch are likely part of an effort to groom her to be the next challenger for Asuka's title.
Shayna Baszler also got a victory over Asuka by eliminating her in the Elimination Chamber Match. However, the two have yet to face off in a one-on-one match, and it seems like the right choice to pull the trigger between the two at Backlash as they are the two biggest stars of Raw's women's division.
