#1. Otis cashes in his Money in the Bank contract

Could Otis cash in his contract this Sunday?
Could Otis cash in his contract this Sunday?

Otis won the Money in the Bank contract after the briefcase fell into his hands, which means that he is entitled to an opportunity at the Universal Championship anytime and anywhere of his choosing. The current Universal Champion is Braun Strowman, so Otis' odds of becoming champion are pretty low.

The best time and place to cash-in is at WWE Backlash, where Strowman will defend his title in a 2-on-1 handicap match against Miz and Morrison. Strowman will be vulnerable, so the Heavy Machinery member could use this as an opportunity. Plus, he could get help from his tag team partner Tucker.

He could cash-in while the match is still going on, meaning he doesn't need to pin Strowman to become the next Universal Champion. Otis isn't currently scheduled to compete on Sunday, so he'll be at WWE Backlash observing the match closely.

If he does indeed cash in his contract at WWE Backlash, he's not guaranteed to walk out with the title though. Strowman could still retain the Universal Championship, leaving Otis empty-handed. On the bright side, he'll still have Mandy Rose, so he's still a winner.
