The newly crowned United States Champion, Apollo Crews will defend his title against the former champion Andrade at Backlash tonight. Andrade won the triple-threat match this past week on Monday Night RAW to earn himself a shot at the US title. Interestingly, all is not well between him and his teammate Angel Garza, whom he pinned on RAW to win the match.

WWE seems to be hinting at the entire faction of Zelina Vega exploding soon, and I won't be surprised to see that happen as soon as at Backlash. Angel Garza is surely not happy with what happened on RAW, and he might as well take his revenge by costing Andrade his match at Backlash. Whether that happens or not, Apollo Crews is likely walking out with the United States title still around his waist.

Prediction: Apollo Crews retains.

Miss Money in the Bank 2020 and the current RAW Women's Champion Asuka will be defending her title against the Irresistible Force, Nia Jax at Backlash tonight. Nia Jax recently returned to WWE after a long hiatus and has her eyes set on Asuka's title.

While WWE has been trying to put her over as a huge challenger for Asuka, the record says otherwise as the Empress of Tomorrow has dominated Nia Jax. Asuka has impressed everyone backstage and the WWE Universe, and it's unlikely that WWE will take the title off her just yet. If nothing, Nia winning the title might just result in a huge fan outbreak, something WWE would want to avoid at any cost.

Prediction: Asuka retains.
