WWE: Batista beats The Rock on opening day at the Box Office

WWE superstar Batista’s new movie, Guardians of the Galaxy, generated $37.8 million on its opening day at the box office convincingly getting the better of Hercules which stars The Rock as the title character.

It has been a week since the release of Hercules but even then, the film didn’t manage to earn that much.

While Batista’s movie has been doing great, it should be noted that the film has opened in 500 theatres more than Hercules which clearly gives them the advantage.

Batista has been receiving great reviews for his work in the film too.
