It seems to be the season of injuries and piling headaches for the WWE as Cesaro is the latest addition to the long list of stars, as he is set to be on the sidelines due to a shoulder injury.
The reports were validated by WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross, who stated that the Swiss Superman would have to undergo immediate surgery to his problematic shoulder. This is the tweet he put out:
According to WWE sources, Cesaro is said to have torn his rotator cuff, that would indeed require surgery as soon as possible. If Cesaro does go under the knife, he is expected to be out for a minimum of four-six months.
The exact reason that caused the ripped rotator cuff is still not known as of yet and expect WWE to issue an official statement on the same in the days to come.
Cesaro’s injury adds to WWE’s existing woes of having to deal with the loss of Seth Rollins, Randy Orton and John Cena due to respective reasons. Rollins’s knee is set to keep him out for six-nine months, Orton’s shoulder issues mean he would be back just in time for WrestleMania 32.
Rusev and Lana are also at home nursing respective injuries. Cena, though, is an exception in this case as he is busy filming for a new show called ‘American Grit’.
The bottom line is that Cesaro’s in-ring mastery would me a missing entity from WWE’s programming for some time to come, and that too at a time when he looked to be making huge strides to attaining main event glory.
The Cesaro section's boisterous cheers would have guaranteed a deserved push in the time to come, but even that very wish would now take a backseat.
In spite of WWE not giving Cesaro his due push, the fans adore the in-ring genius. He will be dearly missed, but the day he does come back would see one large pop for sure.
