Sure, Roman Reigns has been a heel for some time now, but at WWE Clash of Champions 2020, he showed a side of himself that we hadn't seen.
A lot of times fans ask for something and when they get it, it isn't really what they wanted all along, as we saw with Dean Ambrose's heel turn and the Shinsuke Nakamura vs. AJ Styles match at WrestleMania a few years ago. However, when Roman Reigns turned heel and aligned with Paul Heyman, he became The Big Dog that fans have yearned for, for a really long time, culminating in a fantastic match at WWE Clash of Champions 2020.
The version of Roman Reigns that we saw at WWE Clash of Champions 2020 is ruthless and is the Samoan powerhouse that he was always meant to be. And now that Jey Uso is in the past, Roman Reigns can finally move on to more formidable challengers.
