#1 Roman Reigns can't afford to lose at Clash of Champions
Roman Reigns returned at SummerSlam and has since been able to win back the Universal Championship that he was forced to relinquish back in 2018. Reigns was part of a feud with The Fiend, but it appears that this has been put on the backburner while he battles his own cousin, Jey Uso, at Clash of Champions.
Jey Uso has spent his entire career wrestling in the tag team division, and this is his first-ever shot at the Universal Championship. Just a month after Reigns won the title, The Big Dog definitely can't afford to lose it.
At present, Reigns' heel turn has been a success on SmackDown and his new alliance with Paul Heyman looks as though it has done great things for his character, but if Reigns was to lose to his own cousin, all of that could change.
Clash of Champions is Reigns' first Universal Championship defense and even though Jey Uso is seen as an easy obstacle for the new Champion, he could also be seen as a dark horse. If Jey Uso is able to walk out of Clash of Champions as the new Universal Champion then it would be a huge blow to Roman Reigns and his new character.
