The deterioration of Charlotte and Dan Brooke’s relationship has been highlighted on Raw programming over the last month. Dana has repeatedly tried to prove herself to Charlotte and as failed spectacularly at most of her attempts. It was because of Dana that Charlotte will have to defend her championship in a triple threat match at Clash of Champions – Dana was the one who brought Sasha and Bayley's shoulders being down together to Mick Foley’s attention.
Matters came to a head a few weeks ago when Dana got fed up with Charlotte constantly demeaning her and slapped Charlotte on Raw and got herself an opportunity to become the #1 contender to the Raw Women’s Championship. However, she lost that opportunity and went back to being Charlotte’s lackey.
Dana turning on Charlotte momentarily and slapping her was well received by the live crowd and the latest rumours suggest that Dana could be turning on Charlotte this Sunday and turning babyface. Dana could also be a challenger to the Women’s Championship in the near future, especially if Charlotte manages to retain.
