The women's tag team division in WWE seems pretty empty at the moment. The recent break-ups between the IIconics and the Golden Role Models have hardly left a couple of teams left. The company will need to create more tag teams to feud with Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler after Clash of Champions.
But for now, the scene is set for the September pay-per-view. Liv Morgan and Ruby Riott earned an opportunity at the Women's Tag Team Championship, after defeating the IIconics on RAW. One week later, the reunited Riott Squad began a program with Baszler and Jax.

The two teams will face each other at Clash of Champions, in what could be one of the more interesting matches on the card. The lopsided nature of both teams makes for a compelling scenario, as does the relationship between the current Women's Tag Team Champions.
Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax will likely carry on with the titles, continuing their story as the female Team Hell No. However, WWE should keep Morgan and Riott as a tandem even if they fail to win at Clash of Champions. They need more teams.
