After the events of SmackDown, this match is extremely likely to happen at Clash of Champions. In fact, it could even get confirmed on tonight's episode of Talking Smack especially since AJ Styles is scheduled to be a guest on the show.

The Phenomenal One's Intercontinental Championship match against Jeff Hardy was interrupted by Sami Zayn, who returned a few weeks ago. The Great Liberator claims that he is the "real" Intercontinental Champion, after being stripped off the title while he was off TV.

The issue between Hardy, Zayn, and Styles may very well boil over in a triple threat at Clash of Champions. What a match this could be. As long as Zayn wrestles like his normal self, this might steal the show. All three Superstars are among the best in-ring performers WWE has to offer.

Ten years ago, this match would have been a complete fantasy. Jeff Hardy, AJ Styles, and Sami Zayn were all completely away from WWE in 2010, with a triple threat between them for the IC title seeming like a mouth-watering prospect.

The fact that it is set to happen in 2020 just shows WWE's mind-boggling evolution in their product and the wrestlers that are featured. The IC title could be one of the most featured belts at Clash of Champions, thanks to this intriguing angle.
