Typically hard hitting encounter between these 2 Superstars as they go after each other with clubbing blows and stiff shots right from the onset. Sheamus asserts early control after targetting the injured back of Cesaro with his offence.
Cesaro looks to fight back with uppercuts as he sends Sheamus flying into the turnbuckles before following it up with an Uppercut barrage. He whips Sheamus onto the second rope and hits him with a 619. Yes, you read right, a 619.
He then tries to put Sheamus away with a Neutraliser but the Celtic Warrior stems the tide of offence by going to Cesaro’s back again. Sheamus continues punishing Cesaro’s lower back but can’t seem to put him away.
Both of these Superstars hit the other with their best shot, but neither can seem to finish the other off. They take the fight outside and both go over the barricade where they lie, absolutely spent after the exertions.
Doctors check on both of them and the bell is rung, with neither man deemed fit to resume the fight. Cesaro seems to be the better off between the two, as he gets back into the ring. Sheamus is helped to the back by the officials, as the audience chant ‘let them fight.’
