The greatest little man in WWE history hasn't had the best of times lately. Rey Mysterio is currently experiencing a downward spiral, having lost to Andrade a couple of times.

The Master of the 619 contemplated retirement. However, his son, Dominick, prevented the legend's retirement, persuading him to fight on.

Even though Rey Mysterio is expected to team up with his son shortly, that's unlikely to be so soon.

For now, the masked luchador should target a man who he has never faced before - AJ Styles. Mysterio won the US title earlier this year at WWE Money in the Bank but was forced to relinquish it to Samoa Joe due to a shoulder injury.

It must be noted that Mysterio never lost the WWE US Championship and has every right to pursue it once again.

Mysterio and AJ Styles are two proud veterans who have accomplished so much in their careers - they have traveled all over the globe and beaten the top performers in pro-wrestling, winning countless championships.

Much to the surprise and displeasure of hardcore fans, these bonafide icons haven't fought against each other.
