Aleister Black fights on SmackDown Live and AJ Styles performs on Raw. However, Black could easily challenge for the US Championship if he wishes to, using the wild card rule.

The ominous man from Amsterdam is currently undefeated in singles competition, having beaten the likes of Cesaro and Sami Zayn.
Black was last seen on the last SD Live before SummerSlam, where he made quick work of the aforementioned Sami Zayn. Given that Black wasn't included in the King of the Ring tournament, it suggests that WWE has bigger things planned for the former NXT Champion, which could see him face Styles in a dream match for the US Championship.
Styles vs Black would be a classic from an in-ring perspective and should have the fans on the edge of their seats throughout the match.
Although Styles would most likely come out of the encounter with the US Championship, an up and coming star like Black would certainly benefit from facing someone as proficient as the Phenomenal One.
