WWE confirms injury to Los Matadores' Fernando

WWE has confirmed in an official statement that Fernando, one half of Los Matadores, has suffered from an injury during a match at a WWE house show in Newark, Delaware, past weekend.

It was announced that Fernando has suffered multiple injuries to his leg, which includes a sprained ankle and a sprained knee.

On Monday, Fernando underwent X-rays to determine the nature of his injuries.

Here is the official statement by WWE physician Dr. Chris Amann:

"Fortunately there are no fractures. However, he has a pretty significant left ankle sprain, as well as a sprain of one of the ligaments of the knee. We put him in a boot, he's on crutches, and we expect him to be back in three to four weeks."
