Is the push over for Roman Reigns?

It was confirmed during the Smackdown tapings this week that Big Show and Roman Reigns would be facing each other at Extreme Rules in a Last Man Standing match. Taking Reigns out of the WWE World Heavyweight title picture, especially on the PPV right after Wrestlemania, has got people within the WWE talking about his status in the company.

Reigns, who was the no.1 contender to the title at WM 31, wasn’t put over at the event by WWE and many people backstage feel that WWE panicked to have him win the main event. It was said that the best way to describe it was internal backlash.

A lot of the post-WrestleMania 31 angles and pushes are up in the air right now because WWE doesn’t have a clear direction as to where they want to go with several top talents.
