We all know that New Day has had success as a unit winning the Tag Team Championships 11 times. Meanwhile, Kofi Kingston and Big E have had success as singles competitors, with both winning the WWE Championship. Woods has yet to have his signature moment as a singles star. Woods deserves to have his moment as well.
Woods has been the main person vouching for the return of the King of the Ring. He has also been saying "Crown Me" after every match. Fans are fully behind him and want to see him win the tournament. The stars are more than aligned for Woods, and it makes perfect sense for him to win the tournament.
Balor had a good run in NXT before returning to the main roster. He was also given a solid push on SmackDown, feuding with Universal Champion Roman Reigns and having beef with John Cena. If Balor were to defeat Woods in the final, it could sour the crowd against him.
Rumors are that Balor will take Drew McIntyre's spot on RAW when he moves there after Crown Jewel. McIntyre has been the top babyface on RAW for over a year, so having him defeat a fan favorite like Woods would be counterproductive.
So, the outcome of the 2021 King of the Ring Finals will see Xavier Woods accomplish his dream and win the tournament.
