2: AJ Styles Vs Samoa Joe

AJ Styles and Samoa Joe delivered a typically solid encounter

While this match was not as good as their previous encounters, AJ Styles and Samoa Joe still managed to deliver a solid match at Crown Jewel, especially given the last-minute nature of the whole thing.

The two men have an excellent chemistry and the fact that they are two of the most talented wrestlers in the world certainly doesn't do any damage either.

The biggest issue here was the lack of drama. Joe was drafted in as a last minute replacement for Daniel Bryan, so the outcome of the match was one of the easiest calls of the night.

As a result, there was a clear lack of tension in the bout and the finish felt incredibly flat. Still, from a pure in-ring standpoint, this was one of the night's best encounters.
