7: Jeff Hardy Vs The Miz

Jeff Hardy and The Miz put on an enjoyable first-round match

The first-round World Cup matches are fairly difficult to separate, with all of the encounters pretty much delivering exactly the same level of quality in the ring.

All of the first round matches felt a little rushed, clearly because four of the men would be working later in the night, and this match ranks lowest purely because it felt like the most predictable of the first round outings.

The finish for the match also felt a little bit flat, but once again, that was the same with a lot of the quarter-final matches.
