#2 Elias' show cancelled by WWE

Elias is one of the most popular acts in the WWE currently, and his gimmick is loved by the WWE Universe, in spite of him being a heel. The guitar-wielding Superstar, who was recently endorsed by guitar manufacturer Fender, as well as released a music album, was scheduled to perform at the Gramercy Theatre on Saturday, August 18th, but he informed via social media that WWE have cancelled his event.

Elias said through his tweet that he will now perform on SummerSlam, after WWE "insisted" he cancel his performance at the Gramercy Theatre.

WWE Management insisted I postpone my solo concert this Saturday in New York City, however they have given me the opportunity to perform that concert live at Summer Slam.

Elias has been calling out The Rock in the past few weeks on social media; could The Rock make an appearance and possibly set-up a match for WrestleMania?
