WWE Day 1: Full match-card predictions

#1 Roman Reigns (c) vs. Brock Lesnar vs. Sami Zayn for the Universal Championship at WWE Day 1

The biggest match already made official for WWE Day 1 is Universal Champion Roman Reigns defending his title against arch-rival Brock Lesnar. However, there could be a change in what currently is a one-on-one match.

The Beast Incarnate returned to SmackDown this past week and was confronted by the #1 contender for the Universal title, Sami Zayn. Lesnar ended up taking Sami into getting his title match against Roman Reigns this week only. However, Lesnar turned on Sami before the main event started and attacked him. The Tribal Chief then squashed him to retain his title.

While all this falls perfectly in the entire "conspiracy" storyline of Zayn, we might see him somehow get added to the Universal Championship match at WWE Day 1. WWE Day 1 is not a big enough stage for Roman Reigns' record-breaking title run to end. At the same time, WWE can't have Lesnar lose to him once again in a one-on-one match.

Adding Sami Zayn to the mix could be the solution for this. The match quality would definitely improve, and Zayn could end up taking the pin, letting Lesnar face Reigns again at a bigger stage, possibly WrestleMania 38.
