#2 - Drew McIntyre makes a big announcement at WWE Day 1

Drew McIntyre is scheduled to face Madcap Moss at WWE Day 1. Ever since getting drafted to SmackDown a few months ago, McIntyre has been slowly climbing his way to the top. However, he has made his intentions clear to come after the Universal Championship.

In all likelihood, McIntyre will pick up the victory over Moss at WWE Day 1. Following that, he could officially announce himself to enter the upcoming Royal Rumble match. This would be a great way to start the build up to the pay-per-view, which would take place less than a month after Day 1.

#1 - A last minute replacement for Seth Rollins at WWE Day 1

The WWE Championship will be on the line this Saturday, as Big E is set to defend his title in a fatal four-way against Seth Rollins, Kevin Owens, and Bobby Lashley. However, there are massive questions over the availability of Rollins for WWE Day 1 as he recently announced that he has tested positive for COVID-19.

While WWE continues to advertise the match as is, we could see a last-minute replacement being announced for Rollins in the match.

There are several great options for who could take his place in this match. While fans would love to see someone like AJ Styles or Finn Balor get this opportunity, looking at the current booking, Austin Theory could be a frontrunner as well.
