WWE Diva Rosa Mendes made a surprising return to WWE RAW this week as she partnered The Miz in a dance segment, mocking Fandango and costing him the match on RAW.
Rosa has not made an appearance in the WWE since April due to what were supposed to be “personal reasons”. However, according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the 33-year-old diva spent her time away from the road in rehab.
The newsletter reported that the diva fabricated a story of domestic abuse against her fiance and told police “that she was afraid her fiancé would try and kill her” and “the abuse had been an ongoing thing.” Police on the scene took photos of Rosa’s body, which showed scratches and bruising from the incident. She was also reported to be intoxicated during the entire incident.
When on tour with the WWE, Rosa was said to be “partying too much on the tour,” and also described as “a mess” by her colleagues, which is why the WWE sent her back home.
Rosa also acknowledged the issue on twitter and sent out the following tweet to her fans.
“Just wanted to let all my #Mendesluverz that I’m ok. I had to take care of some personal matters. Thank you for all your support. Love you.”
