When Ember Moon and Bayley were moved to SmackDown, it was great for them due to Ronda Rousey and Becky Lynch having a stranglehold on the RAW women's division. While Bayley eventually won the SmackDown Women's Championship, Moon only received a title shot at SummerSlam and has lost more matches than she's won since.
Another big name that was destined for big things but who hasn't achieved anything great is Drew McIntyre. He returned to the WWE a year and a half ago and stated that he wanted to end the complacency in the locker room and win the Universal Championship. I don't think either goal has really been accomplished. Since McIntyre had a disappointing run as Shane McMahon's lackey instead of a dangerous star, he should hopefully get a fresh start on Friday Night SmackDown.
A female WWE star said her life is in danger. Details HERE
He's one of the few stars who could and should believably dethrone Brock Lesnar for the WWE Championship, but it's still unclear as to what the WWE wants to accomplish with another Lesnar title reign. If divisions on one show are too top-heavy with big names that always get chances (Baron Corbin, Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns, Lesnar) then others who are ready for a big jump will continue to wait.
SmackDown, in all likelihood, is going to become loaded with bigger names, so we could see another women's division with both Flair and Lynch. That doesn't bode well for the chances of the rest of the women on Friday nights. By moving the likes of Asuka and Kairi Sane on RAW, the duo will have more opportunities.
