There are a couple of reasons why separating Roman Reigns from The Fiend in WWE Draft 2020 isn't a bad thing at all. The main thing, purely from an entertainment perspective, is that Roman Reigns vs. Jey Uso is probably the most compelling thing in WWE at the moment, followed by the Fiend-Alexa Bliss alliance, and they were both on the same brand prior to WWE Draft 2020. Now, that they are separated, there is something to look forward to on both Monday and Friday nights.

But more importantly, neither Roman Reigns nor The Fiend can afford a loss at the moment, and that is why it is necessary to keep them apart.
This was achieved at WWE Draft 2020 where they were separated, and this makes all the sense in the world because neither is a babyface at this point in time at least. They could always clash at a stage like WrestleMania down the line, but for now, they should be kept many miles apart.
