WWE Elimination Chamber 2014: 5 Superstars to watch out for

Yes Yes Yes

Yes Yes Yes

From being the last PPV before the WWE Network to playing host to the dream Wyatt Family-Shield clash, the Elimination Chamber making headlines for all the right reasons.

After a tainted Royal Rumble the creative will also be looking to ride with the waves and make it worth keeping in the hard disc.

Apart from the Wyatt- Shield clash, the marquee Elimination Chamber match will also make the interest levels roar with Alberto Del Rio- Batista match complementing the big main events.

New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE

The Chamber will also be the last chance for the Superstars to gain some ground before WrestleMania and make sure that they get their tickets booked early. So let’s take a look at the top five superstars who could flourish in their last chance and come up as the break out stars of Elimination Chamber.

Honorable Mention:

Daniel Bryan- if I had to place Bryan in the list he would have been in the first position. However, it would be too obvious since he gives almost 200 % every time which makes him the top dog in every match he’s been put into. Thus we will obviously have our eyes on him without needing any special mention.

5- Roman Reigns

We are waiting

We are waiting

From his debut itself Roman Reigns showed signs breaking out as a top star but it wasn’t made clear by the company until the Survivor Series.

They carried his momentum through to Royal Rumble and gave his the record which was untouched for more than a decade. Giving him this type of push in two of the historic pay-per-views underlines the faith that WWE has in his potential.

Though the Elimination Chamber is not anywhere near the Survivor Series or Royal Rumble in terms of history, it is the last stop to the legendary WrestleMania. This calls for some intelligent booking since it will directly reflect on Reigns’ WrestleMania show.

A potential explosion of the Shield or destruction of the Wyatts, Roman Reigns is sure to make the crowd go woo no matter what happens.

4- Sheamus

Time to kick someone's head off

Time to kick someone’s head off

Sheamus probably got a better pop than Batista when he made his in ring return. This proved that the Celtic Warrior still is very over among the WWE Universe despite being absent for most of the year due to injury.

After the Royal Rumble, he will have another big stage to cement his main event spot when he squares off against five other men inside the Elimination Chamber.

Sheamus might not have any chance of winning the title, but he is going to stand out even in defeat since the company would want to give him a high profile feud through to WrestleMania.

The man who loves to fight is going to give a treat to watch for the fans and some great punishment to the five unlucky men who will be locked with him.

3- Alberto Del Rio

Time to shift gears

Time to shift gears

Del Rio got what he wanted last week on Raw when Triple H booked him against Batista at the Elimination Chamber.

Many see this as a squash match to give Batista some momentum before he cashes in his Royal Rumble win at WrestleMania. Frankly speaking it’s going to be exactly that since the chances of WWE giving Batista a loss in his first match are slim.

And this might probably be the last involvement of Del Rio in the main event scene as there is no big name left on the roster that could feud with Del Rio through to WrestleMania.

This leaves Del Rio to fight for his dear life at Elimination Chamber promising the fans an epic performance.

He definetly has the technical skills to pull it off as well which might make Del Rio a break out star even if he loses against Batista.

2- Antonio Cesaro

Ready to swing

Ready to swing

If someone who doesn’t see WWE tuned into SmackDown last week, they might have projected Cesaro as a top face in the company even after roaming around with a guy who abuses the fans.

After Roman Reigns, if there is someone who is been backed by the company to breakout in the near future it has to be Cesaro. His impressive charisma and the move set which include the patented Great swing have been well over with the fans even though he is officially aligned as a heel.

Like Sheamus, Cesaro will also have no chance of winning the Chamber and go on to headline WrestleMania but he will be one of those superstars that will make us say “That guy was awesome”.

Mixing with the lights of Cena, Orton, Bryan, Christian and Sheamus will aid the Swiss born star in his future ventures as well. the face turn is soon going to arrive officially, but we know that he’s already a face among the fans despite being termed boring by the backstage officials.

1- Seth Rollins

The Dark horse

The Dark horse

Arguably the best in ring general in the Shield, Seth Rollins has been some sort of a peace keeper in the internal turmoil among the Hounds of Justice.

He was wasted in the background every time Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns locked horns to push the break up storyline. Owing to the fact that Rollins has been looking like a babyface torn apart between his best friends, Elimination Chamber could be the stage for him to step up.

Being involved with a top heel trio will magnify the face performance that Rollins is known for and this could pave way for a future turn.

While the whole WWE universe is going wild about the push that Roman Reigns is getting, they need to be aware of the fact that Rollins is more talented technically as well.

Reigns might become the next John Cena or Rock of WWE but Rollins has the potential to be like Shawn Michaels or Kurt Angle who earned all the respect in the business.
