Get all WWE Elimination Chamber 2019 live commentary, live updates, and highlights hereThis was quite a strange one, Finn Balor and Bobby Lashley have had their issues over the past few weeks and it was thought that Lashley would be forced to defend his title against The Demon King one-on-one.
Finn Balor recently fought Brock Lesnar at The Royal Rumble where he took The Beast to the absolute limit in their fight for the Universal Championship. Despite the fantastic display that Balor put on at The Rumble last month, WWE has dropped him into a feud with Bobby Lashley, even though it's obvious that Lio Rush and Balor could have an interesting feud if left alone.
It's quite interesting that WWE has decided to put Lio Rush in this match as well since it could go two ways. Either Lashley will allow Lio Rush to fight Balor whilst he watches on from ringside because The Almighty is too good for the former Universal Champion, or Rush will be the one to cost Lashley his title.
It is unknown if the rules of the match will include tagging in and out for Lashley and Rush, but given that WrestleMania is merely weeks away and that this feud is expected to continue, it's likely that there could be a title change.
Will Lio Rush cost Bobby Lashley the Intercontinental Championship, or will Lio Rush be the reason Lashley retains and this is the thing that comes between the two men moving forward?
Either way, Finn Balor deserves much better than what he has been given over the past few weeks, especially after his Rumble performance and hopefully, if he leaves Elimination Chamber with the Intercontinental Championship, this will open up his WrestleMania options.
