The WWE Elimination Chamber 2019 pay-per-view saw Ronda Rousey defend her WWE RAW Women's Championship against the leader of the Riott Squad, Ruby Riott.
With her match at WrestleMania 35 in a state of flux, Ronda Rousey could be facing either Charlotte Flair or Becky Lynch, or even both, at the biggest show of them all. However, before that, she needed to get past Ruby Riott.
Before the start of the match, Charlotte Flair came down to the ring. She was at ringside to 'observe' the Championship Match.
Ronda Rousey came down to the ring dressed in Sonya Blade attire, the character she was voicing in Mortal Kombat.
Rousey did not waste any time at all getting down to brass tacks.
She faced down Ruby Riott and looked at her only obstacle before reaching WrestleMania 35.
She caught Riott and hit her with the Piper's Pit finisher move. She then went on to lock in the Armbar, and within seconds, that was it. Ruby Riott was forced to tap out, while Ronda Rousey looked directly at Charlotte, sending a clear message.
Results: Ronda Rousey defeated Ruby Riott and retained the WWE RAW Women's Championship.
After the match was over, Charlotte made her way to the ring and faced off against Charlotte Flair. The two opponents for WrestleMania35 looked at each other but were interrupted by a huge roar, when Becky Lynch appeared.
Lynch struggled to get into the ring with her injured knee, while Charlotte Flair mocked her. However, that was something Charlotte would regret.
Lynch assaulted her with the crutch and demolished Charlotte Flair with it. As if that was not enough, she then handed a crutch to Rousey in an invitation to her to do the same to Charlotte. However, before Rousey could do anything, she was assaulted as well by Becky.
Lynch assaulted both the RAW Women's Champion and the #1 Contender for the title destroying both of them.
She was then escorted out by security, leaving desolation in her wake.
