WWE presents its second pay-per-view of the year this Sunday night. Elimination Chamber is easily considered to be one of the most brutal events in the company's calendar.
It has become a tradition in the past few years for WWE to present two Elimination Chamber matches at the event. The 2021 edition of Elimination Chamber will be no different as the Monday Night RAW stars will be fighting for the WWE Championship, whilst SmackDown's stars will be handed a shot at the Universal Championship.
The card for Elimination Chamber has given WWE's creative team a number of headaches already, but as of writing, there are just six matches and several options when it comes to surprises.
The following list looks at just six last-minute predictions for the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view.
#6 Drew McIntyre retains the WWE Championship
Drew McIntyre defends his WWE Championship against five other men inside Satan's Structure on Sunday night and despite being seen as an underdog, McIntyre could find a way to come out on top.
As of writing, McIntyre doesn't have a rumored match for WrestleMania, which means that the WWE Championship could change hands if WWE feels that it's a good storyline just weeks before WrestleMania.
It's unlikely that McIntyre will drop his title to any of the men who occupy the structure alongside him, since the company has spent so long building McIntyre as the Champion he currently is so that he's prepared to main event WrestleMania.
It's likely that it will come down to McIntyre and Sheamus and the two men will then have a rematch outside of the structure next month at Fastlane.
#5 The Fiend interferes in the WWE Championship Elimination Chamber match
Bray Wyatt's alter-ego has been missing from WWE TV since TLC: Tables, Ladders, and Chairs when he was set on fire by Randy Orton.
The Fiend has since been able to continue his recent storyline with The Viper through Alexa Bliss, but it could now be time for the former WWE Champion to make his return to TV.
Bray Wyatt has quite the history inside the Elimination Chamber after winning the WWE Championship for the first time inside the structure back in 2017. Wyatt also became the first person to invade the structure back in 2014 when The Wyatt Family targeted John Cena.
Wyatt could use the same tactics again this weekend if he was to invade the structure and take out Randy Orton to set up a potential showdown at WrestleMania.
#4 Bobby Lashley retains the WWE United States Championship
Bobby Lashley is set to defend his United States Championship against fellow WWE stars Riddle and Keith Lee tomorrow night at Elimination Chamber, but Lee appears to be unable to be cleared for the match.
Recent reports suggest that the former NXT North American Champion is struggling with an injury at present and may not be medically cleared so this could become another singles match between Lashley and Riddle.
It's unclear if Lee will be replaced in the match or if WWE will allow the two men to collide without a third person in the match. Lashley and Riddle have already stood across the ring from each other several times and the Champion has already found a way to come out on top in every previous encounter.
This means that the most likely outcome here could be that Lashley could retain his title once again, even if MVP is unable to accompany him to ringside since the star reportedly suffered an injury on Monday Night RAW this past week.
#3 Cesaro wins the WWE SmackDown Elimination Chamber match
The SmackDown Elimination Chamber match will see six of the best stars on WWE's Blue brand battle it out for a chance to challenge Roman Reigns for the Universal Championship.
There are several stars in the match who could come out on top including Reigns' cousin Jey Uso and even his long-time rival Kevin Owens, but the likelihood is that Cesaro could be the man who is able to outlast five other stars.
Cesaro has been the subject of a push in recent weeks on SmackDown and deserves a shot at the Universal Championship since he hasn't been handed many singles title shots in his lengthy career.
Cesaro and Daniel Bryan have also been working closely over the past few weeks and Bryan could help Cesaro to come out on top on Sunday night either inadvertently or on purpose since Bryan is already a former WWE Champion and knows that Cesaro deserves that career boost.
Cesaro would also be a much bigger surprise than any of the other stars included in the match like King Corbin and Sami Zayn.
#2 Sasha Banks and Bianca Belair become WWE Women's Tag Team Champions
Sasha Banks and Bianca Belair will challenge for the WWE Women's Tag Team Championships at Elimination Chamber, despite the fact that the two women are set to be rivals at WrestleMania in less than eight weeks.
Reginald was the man who was able to pin Nia Jax this past week on SmackDown to secure the match between the two teams, whilst Carmella could also be seen as someone who could interfere.
Dakota Kai and Raquel Gonzalez have a shot at the Championships in the future following their Dusty Rhodes Classic win and could decide to help Banks and Belair to come out on top here.
Baszler and Jax were on NXT this past week and already sent a message to the two women, but this could be their way of responding. There are several combustible elements in this match and given the fact that Jax and Baszler have become jokes in the Women's Division in recent weeks, a title change is likely if WWE wants the Women's Tag Team Championships to be seen as legitimate titles.
#1 Seth Rollins costs Cesaro his chance to become WWE Universal Champion
Roman Reigns will defend his WWE Universal Championship against the winner of the SmackDown Elimination Chamber match, but this could be another one of The Tribal Chief's plans in order to retain his title.
The Universal Champion refused to defend his title inside the structure but this way he will be able to retain the Championship via count-out or disqualification.
If Cesaro is the man who comes out on top at the beginning of the night, then it could be Seth Rollins who interferes in the match in order to send a message to The Swiss Superman.
The former WWE Champion and Roman Reigns have history and now that both stars are heel, it will be interesting to see if an alliance is teased since both men will now have a common enemy.
Cesaro deserves a shot at the WWE World Championship and could be handed a proper match at Fastlane, but it could be interesting to see Rollins invade his match and tease a reunion with his former Shield teammate.
