#1 Edge picked his WrestleMania 37 opponent at Elimination Chamber

After Daniel Bryan beat out his opponents in the opening Elimination Chamber match, he then faced WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns for the title. Reigns quickly defeated the beaten-down Bryan, but a huge moment followed.

As Reigns celebrated retaining his title, Royal Rumble winner Edge appeared, seemingly out of nowhere to hit Reigns with a spear. The recent WWE returnee then made his intentions clear, pointing at the WrestleMania sign, showing that he had finally made the big decision on who to face come April at The Show of Shows.

Edge facing Reigns for the Universal Championship had been reported for some time following the Royal Rumble. He appeared across RAW, SmackDown and NXT as he dwelled upon his big decision. Now, fans have learned that this will be the WWE Universal Championship match at WrestleMania.

On WWE programming, on-screen personalities have been claiming that Edge will headline WrestleMania with the opponent of his choosing. This match now appears locked-in after the shock moment at Elimination Chamber.
