5 Ways The Fiend and Randy Orton's feud could affect WWE Elimination Chamber

#1 The Fiend returns after Randy Orton wins the WWE Championship

Randy Orton's chances to win the WWE Championship are significantly less, judging by how the storylines are shaping up on the Road to WrestleMania 37. But what if his pre-existing storyline with The Fiend becomes the WWE Championship feud for WrestleMania?

The only problem with this outcome is that Drew McIntyre is a great WWE Champion, who doesn't need to be replaced as the titleholder at the moment. As for the part where people believe that The Fiend and Orton's feud doesn't need the WWE title, that is not exactly true.

The Fiend's storylines have mostly followed this intriguing philosophy — 'Life is a circle'. Bray Wyatt's history with his past rivals has been revisited with The Fiend on several occasions. A major point in Wyatt's career occurred at Elimination Chamber 2017, where he won the WWE Championship in the Elimination Chamber match. After his victory, it was Orton who came out at the end of the pay-per-view and teased a WrestleMania match against Wyatt.

In 2021, could the roles be reversed? If Orton wins the WWE Championship this Sunday, The Fiend should return and stake his claim to the title that Wyatt shouldn't have lost at WrestleMania 33.

Surely, this result won't please every WWE fan. But the aforementioned possibility will make sense in terms of Wyatt and Orton's long-term storyline.
