Given all of the changes that happened to this match in the build to the event and the fact that Stratus and Lita have not been active in-ring performers for some time now, this match was much better than it had any right to be.

The fans were excited to see the two former champions in the ring, and even more so when Trish Stratus and Mickie James got in together.
The two former rivals have an excellent chemistry in the ring together, and it doesn't look as though they have lost that in the decade since they originally squared off.
The legends winning was a nice feel-good moment to kick the show off, and if they are going to perform like that whenever they return, fans will be more than happy to see more of Trish Stratus and Lita in the future.
