Charlotte is one title win away from breaking Trish Stratus's record

While there is no denying that Becky Lynch is riding a massive wave of momentum right now, it seems highly likely that she will end up dropping the SmackDown Women's Championship to Charlotte at Evolution.

The biggest reason for that is that Charlotte is just one more title-win away from breaking the current record that she shares with Trish Stratus of seven title wins.

The company will want to create as many historic moments as they can at Evolution, and having Charlotte break Stratus' record, and then be greeted by the former champion to celebrate, would certainly create a nice visual that the company can replay for years to come.

Becky Lynch has become one of the hottest stars on SmackDown, and even though fans will be annoyed to see her drop the title, she has now established herself as a headline act, and she will no doubt be back in the title picture very soon.

Going forward, this also presents the WWE with the opportunity to book a WrestleMania rematch between Charlotte and Asuka, with the Empress of Tomorrow finally getting revenge for her first-ever defeat.
