Evolution was historic - but was it good or bad?

Kairi Sane vs Shayna Baszler

Well, with the Mae Young Classic 2018 Final taking place at Evolution, it's only fitting that we have a rematch from the inaugural tournament's final as former NXT Champion Shayna Baszler gets her rematch with Kairi Sane.

This pair have a storied history, with Sane defeating Baszler in the MYC and for the title, and being part of a very elite club of people that Shayna Baszler hasn't completely destroyed.

My prediction: I don't think anything needs to be said here about the quality of the match. If you haven't already, watch the first Mae Young Classic where these two women destroy everything in sight to get to the final. I do think Kairi Sane wins this, but only for Baszler to go to the main roster very soon. The only way that doesn't happen is if WWE aligns Shafir and Duke with Baszler for a run, but I think Sane takes the win.

Match length: 15 minutes. A good, methodical wrestling match where the tempo varies throughout.
