Tony Nese could have injured Drew Gulak with this botch
Drew Gulak defended his Cruiserweight Championship on the Extreme Rules kick-off show against Tony Nese, but the former Champion was unable to reclaim his Championship even though he accidentally gave himself much more of a chance of winning when he botched a 450.

Nese usually lands the move in a splash position, but it appeared that he over-rotated the move and landed with his knees in Gulak's chest. It was something that the commentary team actually called him out on as part of the replay, which is where Nigel McGuiness called the former Champion Tony Gulak. McGuiness managed to correct himself but this seemed to just draw more attention to the fact that he had botched.

Luckily, Gulak was able to continue the match and went on to retain his Championship in the hopes that the Cruiserweight Championship won't be relegated to the kickoff show at SummerSlam.
