#2. Nikki Cross could lift her first solo Women's Championship in WWE

Nikki Cross is the shock challenger for Bayley's WWE SmackDown Women's Championship this weekend as part of The Horror Show at Extreme Rules.

Cross has been in the shadow of her teammate, Alexa Bliss, throughout her career on the main roster and was in Sanity's shadow whilst she was in NXT. This is the first time Cross has been able to stand on her own two feet and could lift her first singles Championship this weekend at Extreme Rules.

Cross was originally brought up to the company's main roster because Alexa Bliss was struggling with injury and WWE wanted to keep the former Women's Champion on WWE TV. The storyline between Bliss and Cross has been able to overcome a number of issues and a few interesting years, but this could be the turning point for the two women.

Cross has challenged for a number of Championships across all three brands in WWE in the past and come up short, could Extreme Rules be the turning point?

Cross is so used to being in Bliss's shadow that the chemistry between the two women will completely change if Cross can become the only Champion in the team.
