The Viper Randy Orton picked up a massive win over Edge at Backlash, and he would love to continue his momentum possibly against The Big Show. Although the company has not made the bout official yet, they teased a potential match-up for Extreme Rules between them on last week's RAW episode.

Randy Orton's losses at WWE Extreme Rules

While Randy Orton has the momentum by his side at the moment, his past performances at Extreme Rules have not been up to the mark. It is worth noting that Orton has not competed at this PPV since 2015, where he had lost to Seth Rollins in a Steel Cage match for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. The year before that, he had united forces with his Evolution stablemates, only to lose to The Shield in a Six-man Tag Team Elimination Match.

Randy Orton featured on the match cards of the first two Extreme Rules events, but he could only open his account on the third show. In 2009, Batista beat him for the WWE Championship in a Steel Cage match, whereas in 2010, Jack Swagger overcame a challenge from The Apex Predator in an Extreme Rules match.
