Still, he performed the role of a heel to perfection last year. However, his fortunes at Extreme Rules has not been great.

Daniel Bryan's losses at WWE Extreme Rules

Daniel Bryan has competed in five matches at WWE Extreme Rules, and he has only won a single encounter. Last year, he had defended the SmackDown Tag Team Championships along with Rowan at the PPV. Heavy Machinery and The New Day tried to win the titles from them, and ultimately Big E and Xavier Woods won that match.

The Celtic Warrior bettered his rival 2-1 in a Two-Out-Of-Three Falls Match for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.
