Extreme Rules has the potential to be extremely good indeed
#2 The debut of 'The Fiend'

Sometimes I feel like I’m not in control mentally/emotionally.Reminder... nothing else will matter when I finally meet Bray Wyatt. Wrestlemania 2020. He is my motivation. 🥰🥰🥰❤️❤️❤️ Love you Bray. pic.twitter.com/NZzRMNZX5t
It's just been far too long, hasn't it? While we may have seen cameos from Bray Wyatt's puppets in backstage segments featuring a variety of WWE Superstars, the man himself has been absent for quite some time now. All of it could have been building to a return at Extreme Rules 2019.
I don't know which match or segment he will interfere in, but whatever he does will certainly be memorable. Also, actually not having him show up at Extreme Rules could do more harm than good, over the long haul. And this is because 'out of sight, out of mind' as they say in sports entertainment.
Maybe he shows up to confront Roman Reigns as he is about to pick up a big win, and costs him the victory, setting up a feud. Or maybe, as Aleister Black is about to pick up a win, Bray Wyatt interferes, to his chargin.
