Extreme Rules has the potential to be extremely good indeed
#1 Brock Lesnar cashes in on Samoa Joe
Ad
Who remembers this segment between Roman Reigns, Samoa Joe and Brock Lesnar on Raw two years ago today? The intensity from Joe towards Brock made me really want to see them go one-on-one again. He really deserves a world title run pic.twitter.com/9TjzjJvg3b
Paul Heyman may not have the authority to book SmackDown Live but he is still very much a part of the WWE think tank. And because of the chemistry that Brock Lesnar and Samoa Joe shared a few years ago, it is all too possible that we could see a repeat of their performance that wowed the world.
Let's assume for a minute that we see Samoa Joe come out on top against Kofi Kingston, with no underhanded tactics. What this will help in doing is establish Samoa Joe as a worthy competitor and a monster.
And while he gets some goodwill, his babyface turn could be booked with Brock Lesnar cashing in on him, while he is completely exhausted following his win. Lesnar vs. Joe would then be booked for SummerSlam, and it would be a really big deal.
Who wouldn't love this, right?
