Extreme Rules Results: Bizarre finish to main event; Former Women's Champion returns

Alexa was absolutely devastated about Lilly and started weeping in the ring at Extreme Rules before the crowd chanted 'thank you, Lilly'. Alexa was foaming in the mouth and walked backstage as Extreme Rules went on.

Damian Priest (c) vs. Jeff Hardy vs. Sheamus - United States Title Match at Extreme Rules

Sheamus wiped out Jeff Hardy with a knee strike and sent him outside right off the bat before taking on Damian in the ring. Priest and The Celtic Warrior were fighting at ringside when Jeff came in with a dive and took the champ out.

Hardy took out Sheamus too before Priest dived on top of both his opponents, taking them out. Hardy took the Broken Arrow before Sheamus dragged Priest out of the ring by his feet and sent him into the ring post outside.

Back in the ring, Hardy took the Irish Curse Backbreaker and Priest took the chops on the ropes. Hardy returned for an atomic drop-dropkick combo before hitting the Whisper in the Wind for a near fall on Sheamus.
