Roman Reigns (c) vs. 'The Demon' Finn Balor - Universal Championship match at Extreme Rules (contd...)

Roman hit a superman punch and Balor still kicked out of it as Extreme Rules went on. Heyman got Reigns fired up before The Demon came back with a sling blade. Reigns hit a spear and nearly got pinned but Balor kicked out with a low blow.

Balor dropkicked Reigns out of the ring before hitting a dive on him. Back in the ring, Balor hit the Coup de Grace but The Usos broke up the pin and hit double superkicks on the Demon.

The Usos got a table but Balor countered their slam and took Jey Uso with a powerbomb through the announce desk. Roman hit a spear off the distraction and sent Balor through the barricades.

The lights started flashing red and the Demon's heartbeat was heard on the speakers as Balor rose up and hit Roman with a steel chair and sent him through the table.

The Demon set up for the finish and was about to hit it when the ropes broke and Balor fell from the top, hurting his knee. Roman used the opportunity to hit a spear and pick up the win!

Result: Roman Reigns def. 'The Demon' Finn Balor to retain the Universal Championship

The universal title match at Extreme Rules had a shocking finish!
